Arsenal maintain top spot.

Mikel Arteta emerge  both villain and hero as 10-man Arsenal beat Crystal Palace 0-2 to remain top of the E PL table, five points clear of second place Chelsea.
After going down 1-2 to a hardworking Dortmund in their uefa champions league encounter at the Emirates, the E PL leaders-Arsenal seemed poised to showcase their "new found confidence" in the league front as they traveled to play Crystal Palace away.
Though Arsenal controlled the pace of the game in the first half, they failed to find the back of the net of the Crystal Palace post. Keith Millen's men could afford a smile as the whistle came for the end of the first half having been able to hold the league leaders.
Two minutes into the second half-47', the referee awards Arsenal with a penalty which Mikel Arteta scores to make it 1-0 in favour of Arsenal. Just 18 minutes later, Mikel Arteta gets the red card for bringing down Chamakh who could have equalized for Crystal Palace as the Gunners midfielder was the last man between the Palace striker and Szczesny, reducing Arsenal's men to 10.
After a 22 minute continuous pressure from Crystal Palace, Arsenal's Giroud  scored in the 87'minute to make it 0-2 to the travelers, writing off any possible comeback from Crystal Palace.
The 0-2 win keeps Arsene Wenger's men at the top of the league table for another weekend.
